Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn, an American actor in TV and film, in theatre as well as film and television. Thespian Jeanne Marie Triplehorn has worked as a professional actor for the past 27 years. She started her professional career in the year 1990 with an off Broadway production of The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. The show was later adapted to her first TV role, The Perfect Tribute. In 1992 she got her big break by being a part of the movie Basic Instinct as a minor role. The Firm is where she began her career as the female star alongside Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. Over the course of the 1990s Gwyneth collaborated alongside Hugh Grant on Mickey Blue Eyes as well as Julie Andrews for Relative Values. She played the role of Dr. Alex Blake on the famous international show Criminal Minds.
