The 16th of September, 1958 Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard circumstances. Her mother, who was a failing actor and schoolteacher, sold automobiles, while her father worked as an auto salesman. Jennifer, second in a family of four children frequently attended her mother's theater performance and extremely impressed. Jennifer's parents separated after she turned five. Jennifer was a part of her early years living in British Columbia after her mom relocated there with four other children. Jennifer did not consider herself a studious person however, she did have an artistic talent in her youth. As a child, Jennifer was often targeted by bullies at Canadian schools. Her interest in theater was a bit waning during her high school years in the end, and consequently she was a regular participant in shows by herself with the assistance of her mother. She encouraged all her children to pursue a passion for the arts. After that, she immediately began acting.
